1What are cookies?

2Types of cookies we use
We use the two kinds of storage below. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them, and we do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
Strictly necessary

Our website needs very little to work. We save your cookie choice in your browser's local storage, under the name almahira-consent, so that we don't ask you again on every page. It stays until you clear your browser data.
This does not need your consent because it only records the choice you made. If you clear it, we will ask again.
Analytics cookies
Only with your consent
If you accept, we load Google Analytics 4. It sets the _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies, which last up to two years, to count visits and show us which pages people use, so that we can improve the site. Google's advertising features stay switched off.
Nothing is loaded or set until you accept. If you reject, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
3Managing your cookie choices
3.1 Giving and withdrawing consent
We ask for your consent through a cookie notice before any analytics cookies are set. You can accept or reject them, and you can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew it.

3.2 Browser settings
Most web browsers let you control cookies through their settings. Depending on your browser, you can usually:
- See which cookies are stored and delete them individually or all at once
- Block third-party cookies
- Block cookies from specific websites

Your browser's help pages explain how to manage these settings. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of our website from working properly, and that deleting cookies will also remove your saved cookie choices, so you may be asked for your consent again.
4Third-party cookies
The only third-party service that can set cookies on our website is Google Analytics, and only after you accept analytics cookies. Google handles that information under its own privacy policy. Links to WhatsApp, Google Maps and social networks take you to those services, which apply their own cookie policies.

5Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we change the cookies we use or when legal requirements change. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
If we make significant changes, such as introducing a new category of non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent again where required.
