SEO Services in Dubai

Technical SEO, local SEO and content that help UAE customers find you on Google, Google Maps and AI assistants.

Overview

SEO is the work that helps people find your business when they search Google, Google Maps or an AI assistant, in English or Arabic, and then choose you over the next result. Almahira handles technical SEO, local SEO, content and reporting for businesses in the UAE.

It isn't the right first channel for everyone. SEO suits businesses whose customers already search for what they sell, and it builds over time: a page that ranks keeps working without a cost per click. It is also slow, and in crowded Dubai categories such as property and business setup the first page is usually held by portals and large firms with years of content behind them. In markets like that we go after the specific services, areas and questions a smaller site can realistically win, and we tell you when paid search is the faster route.

We start with an audit of your Search Console data, a crawl of the site, your Business Profile and the pages that rank ahead of you, and fix the foundations before writing anything new. We follow Google's spam policies, so no bought links and no pages produced in bulk. The work happens in accounts you own, and each month you see what we changed, what moved in Search Console and how many enquiries came from search.

Key facts

How long changes take
Google says some changes take effect in a few hours and others several months, and suggests waiting a few weeks before judging one
No guarantees
Google says no one can guarantee a number one ranking, and it never accepts money to include or rank sites in its organic results
Local results
Ranked mainly on relevance, distance and prominence; Google says there is no way to request or pay for a better local ranking
Google's AI features
AI Overviews and AI Mode need no special files or schema: a page must be indexed and eligible to show a snippet
ChatGPT and Perplexity
ChatGPT search finds sites through OAI-SearchBot and Perplexity through PerplexityBot; sites that block OAI-SearchBot aren't shown in ChatGPT search answers
Spam policies
Buying links, doorway pages and mass-producing AI pages that add no value break Google's policies, and such sites can rank lower or disappear

Who it's for

Local service businesses
Clinics, salons, contractors and others whose customers search on Google Maps and choose from the first few profiles they see.
B2B and professional firms
Your buyers research before they call, so your service pages and guides need to answer their questions better than competitors' pages do.
Online stores
You need category and product pages Google can crawl, product structured data, and fewer near-duplicate pages created by filters and variants.
Sites that lost traffic
Traffic fell after a redesign, a migration or a Google update, and you need to know why before changing anything else.

How it works

  1. Audit

We review your Search Console data, crawl the site, check your Business Profile and study the pages ranking ahead of you, then explain the findings in plain language.

  2. Fix the foundations

We resolve indexing and redirect problems, slow pages, broken structured data and Business Profile errors first, because new content can't help a site Google struggles to read.

  3. Research and plan

We map English and Arabic search terms to pages, decide which pages to improve, merge or create, and agree a realistic monthly plan.

  4. Improve and publish

We rewrite weak service pages, add location pages only where you have a real presence, and publish guides that answer buyers' questions.

  5. Build prominence

We set up a review request routine that follows Google's rules, correct your listings across directories and pursue mentions from associations, partners and media.

  6. Measure and adjust

Each month we report clicks, calls and enquiries from search, explain what changed and move effort to what is working.

Typical timeline

Google says some changes show within a few hours while others take several months, and suggests waiting a few weeks before judging whether a change helped. Technical fixes and Business Profile corrections are usually the first to show in Search Console. Competitive terms take sustained work, and progress depends on your starting point and your competitors, so we report monthly rather than promising positions or dates.

Common questions

What does Google say about how long SEO takes?

Google doesn't give a fixed timeline. Its SEO Starter Guide says some changes take effect in a few hours and others could take several months, and suggests waiting a few weeks to judge whether a change helped. In practice, fixing technical errors and an incomplete Business Profile tends to show soonest, while ranking for competitive Dubai searches takes months of steady work, depending on your site's history, content and competition.

What should we watch out for when hiring an SEO agency?

Google's own advice makes a good checklist. Be wary of anyone who guarantees rankings, claims a special relationship with Google or offers priority submission, and walk away from anyone selling links. Ask for examples of past work, how they measure success and what they will change on your site. During an audit, Google suggests giving an SEO read-only access to Search Console, not the ability to make changes.

What is the difference between local SEO and organic SEO?

Local SEO is about the map results and your Google Business Profile; organic SEO is about your website's pages in the main results. Google ranks local results mainly on relevance, distance and prominence, and reviews feed into prominence. Organic rankings depend on your pages, your site's technical health and links from other sites. Most UAE service businesses need both, because the same customer often checks the map and then your website.

How do you research Arabic keywords?

From search data, not translation. Arabic searchers often use different terms from your English keywords, mix Modern Standard Arabic with dialect, or type brand and product names in Latin letters. We check Search Console filtered to your Arabic pages and Google's Keyword Planner set to Arabic, then a native speaker writes the Arabic pages around those terms. hreflang tags connect each English page to its Arabic version.

Can you get our business recommended by ChatGPT or Google's AI answers?

No one controls what AI assistants say, so be wary of anyone who promises it. What helps is the same work that helps search: pages crawlers can reach, including OAI-SearchBot for ChatGPT search and PerplexityBot for Perplexity, clear answers near the top of each page, the same business details everywhere, and reviews and mentions on other sites. Google says its AI features need no special files or schema.

Do you build backlinks?

We earn links rather than buy them. Google's spam policies treat buying or selling links for ranking purposes as link spam, and sites that break its policies can rank lower or disappear from results. We go after links and mentions that a real business would get anyway: directories your customers use, trade associations, suppliers and partners, local media, and guides useful enough for others to cite.

What will a monthly SEO report show?

Numbers you can act on: Search Console clicks and impressions by page and query, in English and Arabic; calls, direction requests and website clicks from your Business Profile; enquiries from organic search in GA4; and visits referred by AI assistants. Each report lists the work done, what changed and what comes next. We don't send ranking screenshots on their own, because positions vary by location and device.

Can we do SEO ourselves?

Many of the basics, yes. A small business can claim and complete its Business Profile, ask every customer for a review, write clear service pages and check Search Console each month. Outside help pays off when technical problems hold the site back, when Arabic content needs writing properly, or when nobody on the team has time to keep going month after month. A one-off audit is a sensible middle ground.
