RAKEZ
Ras Al Khaimah's economic zone, offering industrial land and warehouses as well as business licences for trading and services.
Overview
RAKEZ (Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone) is an economic zone authority set up by the Government of Ras Al Khaimah, one of the seven emirates. It licenses both free zone and non-free zone businesses in trading, services and professional activities, and it is also known for industrial land, warehouses and facilities for manufacturing.
This mix makes RAKEZ a common choice for businesses that need physical space to make, store or move goods. It is further from Dubai's business districts, so think about where your team, clients and suppliers will be based.
Good for
- Manufacturing and light industrial businesses
- Companies that need warehouses or industrial land
- Trading companies that hold and ship stock
- Service businesses that do not need a Dubai address
Things to consider
- It is further from Dubai's business districts, which matters for a Dubai-based team
- Your company and visas are registered in Ras Al Khaimah, not Dubai
- Industrial and warehouse space depends on availability and your activity
- Selling directly to UAE mainland customers usually needs a distributor, a mainland branch or a specific permit
Fees, packages and visa quotas change often; we confirm current figures in your consultation.
